I worked with Angelica to find an apartment in Chamberí. Because of COVID, I had to take a solo house-hunting trip, and I only had a few days to find an apartment for my family. Moving countries is a great adventure but sadly it’s not the easiest of tasks. Despite me being organised and love planning, doing research etc etc - I would have not done it without Angelica. I wanted my move to Madrid to be a beautiful memory and as least stressful as possible and she made exactly that happen. We moved to Madrid a month ago and just had no idea how much bureaucracy would be involved, and with our level of Spanish not being enough, we really needed help... Luckily - we were referred to Angelica: She saved us! She did a total set up for us, to get our basic needs set up. internet/cellular set up, phone and sim card set up, she set up our utilities at the house and made sure everything is OK, she even helped us buy a second-hand car and register it with the city hall for parking. Angelica is truly heaven sent! Renting in Madrid can be tough if you're a foreigner with no residence card, but with Angelica's expertise, we found a great apartment that fits all our requirements. Dealing with Spanish bureacracy can be intimidating but we were able to navigate our way all because of Angelica! We were able to get an apartment, set up our wifi, and open a bank account - all in less than two weeks! Any foreigner knows that completing these tasks in less than two weeks is a huge accomplishment.
